1940 Buick Super coupe

The 1940 Buick coupe is in an above average driver condition; it is not a show car! It is all original with the 248ci straight 8 cylinder engine mated to the std 3 speed transmission shifted on the column. It has 16" white wall radial tires. The chrome and stainless moldings are very nice. The exterior Alameda grey paint is quite lustrous and the body panels are quite straight. The engine runs strong and there's no smoke from the tail pipe on start up. Moreover it never over heats and does not burn oil!. The carburetor has recently been rebuilt The car runs on the original 6 volt electrical system. The wiring has been replaced, generator rebuilt and the voltage regulator replaced and tuned. The original Bedford cloth upholstery is in very good condition; no rips, stains or tears! The gauges, interior lights and the AM radio work. There's absolutely no rust or rot on the car! I have piles of receipts, photographs and history of the car. The car has been meticulously maintained. I know what I have and am not selling junk! .
