Today, you could not restore to my level for . Even a 71-year-old septuagenarian girl appreciates bling. Daddy and Grandpa Henry(RIP) are very proud of me. Reduced from to a 100% FIRM .
My odometer indicates 9,000 miles since my circa 2005 frame-off restoration. My Daddy, along with the pack, Maltese and Shihpoo, happily cruised about 6,000 of those miles. Nearly every dry day (perhaps 350 days per year), we cruise to one of the Punta Gorda parks.
I am a HIGH level and unique FRAME-OFF RESTORATION: 312 CID (5.1L), 4-barrel Holley, 3-speed Ford-O-Matic-automatic, COLD AIR CONDITIONING, front power disc brakes (2021), power steering, power windows, 1957 style space-saver and carpeted trunk, 1957 style interior and dash with Dakota DIGITAL instrumentation, 1956 fender air vents and window air deflectors, exhaust ports were converted to functional taillights. You have FOUR functional taillights. You have never seen FOUR taillights on a Baby Bird. 5 OEM pizza pan wheel covers that are in like new condition, PLUS available are 4 of the fancy "go-to-prom" dress-up 2-piece wire wheel covers in excellent condition, rare 1956 only buckskin tan paint, New Bluetooth radio and speaker, August 2025. New tires January 2025.
Why is Daddy selling me? Daddy is a 79-year-old retired hospice RN. He says, "No one is getting out alive". He is blind in one eye (thank you, vaccine) and losing vision in his "good" eye. He also has medical issues and life expectancy as every male pre-octogenarian -SHORT. In 2024, similar examples sold at B-J, RM, and Mecum, with hammer prices ranging from to (plus commissions). They were a bit nicer than my frame-off restoration, but not worth 5X or 10X more. No auctioneer means both YOU and Daddy EACH save the 10% commissions, fees, and the auction hassles. At auction, I would have a Reserve. You would end up paying or more out the door.
