DESCRIPTION:
1957 Ford Custom 300 Tudor Sedan
Hard to find model with original paint (mostly), interior & drive trane, 272 V8 3 speed manual, factory delete heater, radio & clock. It has relatively little rust, unusual for these cars or any car this old and original. Floors are solid with the exception of a small soft spot on the left rear passenger floor.
She had been sitting for 30+ years when I bought it about 5 years ago. The car was originally was purchased new on November 2nd 1956 at Timberlake Motors in Victoria Texas. It apparently spent it’s life in Texas and that’s where I got it from about five years ago when I had it shipped to California.
New battery
New tires
Replaced windshield
Brake system has been mostley rebuilt rebuilt (shoes, w/cyls, hardware, hoses, master cyl, most brake lines etc)
Front springs & shocks
Waterpump
Modern aluminum radiator,
Rebuilt the carb
Gas tank cleaned & fuel lines flushed
Spark plugs
Valve adjustment
and more...
If you're a Ford guy or not and wanna have something different this car would be a great foundation to restore or build into a really cool street rod.
Included in the is a vintage overdrive transmission which was an option in 1957
