DESCRIPTION:
1959 VW Beetle Type1 - Private Sale. NO TRADES AND NO LOWBALLERS!
I have just finished restoring this beautiful 1959 VW beetle, but bills force me to turn it into cash. Just about everything in it is new on this beautiful car. This bug starts easily and runs very well with lots of power. Car has been garage kept. All receipts on hand. Clean Title. Early bugs, especially with semaphores turn signals are rising in value!
Engine has less than 300 miles. It is 1776 CC rebuilt by VW Paradise in San Marcos, CA. Counterweighted crank, ported and p heads, single Weber 40mm IDF carb.
Transmission - like new.
New Weber carburetor
New brakes and pads.
New cylinders.
12 volt battery.
Wiring - new wiring harness throughout the car, which is now 12 volt.
Tires 145 on the front, 165 on the rear.
Front end - king and link pin assembly was rebuilt, new front shocks and tie rods, front end is height adjustable
Paint - Pastel Green code L11 - original on early 50's beetles.
Window and body rubber seals - all new from West Coast Metric.
New headliner and padding, visors, seat padding and upholstery, carpet, door and quarter panel.
The interior is not an original look, but is instead a mild custom, just like the engine.
New ground strap from the trans to the body.
Chrome body moldings, mirrors, hubcaps, handles, gravel guards, and hood emblem.
Speedometer - I installed a newly rebuilt unit that reads in miles. I will include the original unit, if you want it, which reads in kilometers (European).
