DESCRIPTION:
I'm considering parting with my 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 door, a long-term project I’ve been working on over the past decade. It’s got a clean title and a ton of upgrades and fresh parts. If you're looking for a solid foundation with a lot of the heavy lifting already done, this is it.
Upgrades & Work Done:
• Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes
• RideTech coilover suspension (front and rear) with Strong Arm tubular control arms
• Straight-through custom exhaust (loud and aggressive)
• New floor pans installed
• Underside cleaned and painted (DIY job – not show quality, but solid and rust-preventative)
• New fuel system: tank, pump, and lines
• New brake lines
• New tires and wheels
• New rear axle bearings
• New wiring harness (just needs fuse box installed)
• New air filter and housing
• Other bits: headlights, bulbs, wipers, etc. all replaced
What It Still Needs:
• Fuse box install (I removed the old one due to rust, have a replacement ready – just can’t physically do the install due to back issues)
• Interior – basically untouched; it was trashed when I got the car. Seats are with the car but not installed
• Window seals
• Windshield (cracked)
• Trunk pan (the part will come with the car)
• Trunk hinge (the part will come with the car)
Summary:
The car ran great before I pulled the fuse box. Once the new one is installed, it should fire right up. This isn’t a turn-key cruiser or show car yet — but it’s close. A lot of the expensive and time-consuming stuff is already done.
If you’re looking for a solid platform to finish and enjoy — and want to skip years of grunt work — this could be the one.
Clean title in hand!!
Open to reasonable cash offers.
