DESCRIPTION:
Rare 1967 shortbed Dodge Power Wagon - great "rat rod"patina. Ultimate farm/ranch/acreage truck. It is a beast, ready to go to work. I haul 1 ton pallets in the back. Getting ready to downsize and I need to go from 3 trucks down to 2.
You can spend more on a side by side and get less capability ...
You cannot buy and rebuild a Sweptline 4WD to this level for less ... have done 2 of these.
Rebuilt mechanically throughout (See below). Many upgrades, but still true to 1960's driving experience. Not a computer chip in it.
Has 114" wheelbase, only 530 made that had the V-8. 318 engine. It has 4:10 gear, Dana 44/60, New Process transfer (NP201), w/4 speed (435 - rebuilt).
Motor (318 - period upgrade) has Edelbrock intake, Carter 625 (just rebuilt), and period Hedman headers. Recently upgraded to Petronix ignition electronics. New spark plugs, new hoses, belts, frost/expansion plugs. Radiator serviced (removed and steam cleaned/flushed). New starter and starter relay. Extra gauge (oil temp, water temp, voltmeter) setup. New thermostat. Put engine on new engine mounts. Significant amount of rewiring.
Totally rebuilt closed knuckle front end. New Waren front Lockouts. Red Head steering gear box (upgrade from original).
Rebuilt brakes all around (new shoes, hardware, spun drums)/new bearings. Working parking brake. Working speedometer/odometer.
Rebuilt 4 Spd transmission, new clutch cylinder, New slave cylinder on clutch. All axle and driveline fluids changed. all drive lines serviced/rebuilt/tight.
New mufflers and exhaust (Daves Muffler).
Springs were re-arched, and a leaf added by Craig spring in Ballard for 2.5" lift back in the late 1980s. Essentially making this a W200 (I upgraded the emblem).
New Tires (Mastercraft Courser CXT 255/816 123 Q Tire). New shocks (Rancho). Matching size spare mounted underneath (original spare tire mount)
New windshield and new windshield rubber. Door and window mechanisms refurbished. New dash stickers for transfer case operation and 4WD hubs.
Modern sound system - new AM/FM stereo with phone jack. New stereo speakers - 2 pairs in door. Also have a "Retro" Sound Stereo Dash speaker.
New custom front bumper and 12,000 lb electric winch, extra battery on isolator (hooked to winch). refurbished heater with new heater core and heater hoses.
Tool box. Gun rack. "Passenger" horn with separate button.
Comes with an extra " complete"set of doors with California mirrors (see pics) that are near mint/just bolt in place. Also have a spare gas tank that can be installed in the bed under the tool box.
