DESCRIPTION:
For Sale: Classic 1968 Dodge D100 Sweptline Shortbed Pickup Truck
Own a piece of American trucking history!
This vintage 1968 Dodge D100 pickup is ready for its next adventure as the foundation of your next custom build. This D100 boasts the iconic "sweptline" design, a distinguishing feature of Dodge trucks from this era. The distinctive crease running from headlight to taillight, hood louvers, and a subtly overhanging cab are iconic on this Adventurer series D100
Features
Exterior: Older Yellow paint exterior with white roof, body is straight and has some rust spots in the usual spots as seen in the photos, chrome grille has some peeling, lettering, mirror, and bumpers are solid daily driver pieces. Tonneau cover is in very good condition, truck bed is rhino lined, floorboards are solid.
Interior: Equipped with a Pioneer radio and door speakerslap belts, dome light, and brown carpets.
Custom aftermarket steering wheel and column, custom dash panel and gauges, on the dash shifter, checkered bench seat and headliner in good condition.
Powertrain: This was a project car for me and it came with no engine or transmission. My plan was to add a 360/727 combination. This would be the perfect truck for a Hemi Swap.
American Racing torque thrust wheels and little to no mileage tires.
There are loads of extra parts in the truck bed including panel molding pieces, dash parts, brake parts, radiator, driveshaft, flow master mufflers and pipes and many more extras.
This truck presents a fantastic opportunity as a solid bass for a resto-mod.
It was registered as non-op years ago. I have searched but am unable to locate the title since moving a few times over the last several years. I wish I had the time to restore this iconic Mopar truck.
