DESCRIPTION:

This 1970 Porsche 911T coupe was acquired by the current owner last year from its prior owner who purchased it in 2016 and modified it over the 9 years which followed. It has been modified with steel rear fender flares and a fiberglass hood, ducktail decklid, front fenders, and bumpers. The car was repainted in light grey in 2016 and wears a darker gray vinyl wrap with black stripes and Porsche graphics. It is powered by a replacement flat-six (sourced from an ’84 3.2L), which was rebuilt in 2023 by Mobile Works West, a well known and respected Porsche specialty shop located in Grass Valley, California. The build included installing 98mm pistons with 10.5:1 compression, Dougherty racing camshafts, and a Bluetooth-controlled adjustable unit ignition system. Induction is through dual Weber 46 IDA carburetors, and SSI heat exchangers are linked with an M&K sport exhaust system. This car rides on 17″ Compomotive wheels which are mounted with Toyo R888r tires measuring 225/45 up front and 275/35 out back. The car has been fitted with 968/944S2-specification four-wheel disc brakes at all four corners. This hotrod has been further upgraded with Bilstein shocks, upgraded sway bars, and 968 disc brakes. Inside, the cabin houses a 1/2 cage roll bar, black leather custom Scheel seats, a MOMO steering wheel, and a Bluetooth radio. Additional equipment includes a five-speed 915 manual transaxle, polycarbonate rear windows, 911R-style taillights, a 917-style shift knob, and an RSR-style lightweight flywheel and clutch. Dynamat sound deadening and charcoal squareweave carpets were also added along with a fire extinguisher. The seats are fitted with retractable three-point seatbelts as well as four-point harnesses, which can be used independently of each other. The current owner (seller) has installed a 100L fuel tank and made additional repairs, corrections and upgrades including installing wind shield wipers, driver’s side sun visor and passenger mirror. The car is in perfect running order and is an impressive canyon carver and track day car with only approx 1500 miles since the complete engine rebuild. The car is street legal and smog exempt so can be registered in CA without any problem. Here are some video links of the car from one I purchased it a year ago by the car's mechanic, Bill Eason, of Eason Autowerks in Oakland. A very well known and highly respected Bay Area based Porsche mechanic: https://youtu.be/2Ijov8MxNWg?si=Y7SDq8sjvz4rHdIW https://youtu.be/Mgc8BxZP_A0?si=ThBemCNZc8uB2Z0K A compression and leak-down test performed by Eason Autoworks on 5/28/24 yielded the following compression results: Cylinder 1 205 Cylinder 2 205 Cylinder 3 220 Cylinder 4 215 Cylinder 5 220 Cylinder 6 220 I have extensive records from the build as well as photos of the body re-spray, steal rear fender flares work, replacement engine rebuild and all internals, etc.
