DESCRIPTION:
This 1970 Honda N600 was first delivered to Honda of Santa Cruz in California and is said to have been refurbished prior to the seller’s acquisition in 2012. The car is finished in yellow over black vinyl upholstery and powered by a 598cc twin mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. Features include body-color 10″ steel wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, chrome bumpers, and an AM/FM radio. This N600 is now offered with a copy of the window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a service manual, a tool kit, and a clean Texas title, which I bought from the Seller in Texas.
The car is finished in yellow and features black-painted doors stripes with Honda script. Additional exterior details include a left mirror, pop-out rear quarter windows, bright trim, and chrome bumpers with overriders. Imperfections include chrome pitting and bubbling paint throughout the finish.
Yellow-painted 10″ steel wheels with Honda-branded hubcaps are mounted with 145-series Kings Tire tires. The N600 rides on MacPhearson front struts and elliptical leaf springs with tubular rear shocks and is equipped with power-assisted front discs and rear drum brakes. A full-size spare tire is mounted in a steel carrier below the trunk. The brakes are said to have been bled in preparation for the sale.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl with textured centers. Appointments include lap belts, manually operated windows, Honda-branded floor mats, and an AM/FM radio with a dash-mounted speaker. Sound-deadening material is installed beneath the carpeting. The headliner shows staining and two tears, while the Honda timepiece mounted atop the dash has a dead cell.
The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket leather wrap and frames a 100-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and warning indicators. The five-digit odometer is at 46k miles, approximately 600 of which have been by the seller and then towed to Los Angeles.
