DESCRIPTION:

1971 Dodge Demon 340 Racecar Project
Originally a Slant 6 Automatic.
Vin# LL29C1E.
Currently, it has a freshly rebuilt 340 V8 in it.

-Block casting is 2780930-340-6.
-Casting Date is 3-19-73.
-We put a scope into the plug holes, and the pistons are .040 over.
-It has 340 heads with/ new valves & heavy-duty springs. No rocker or pushrod assembly is provided, so you can equip it as desired.
-The Demon has a '73 & up A Body V8 Spool Mount K Frame w/ Big Bolt Pattern Disc Brakes.
-There is a Power Steering Box and Pump.
-It has a later Small Block 727 Automatic Transmission. It may be a later overdrive. The tail shaft has a casting of 4028194.
-The rear end is a Ford 8.8 rear end likely out of a later Mustang. It is a POSI w/ 3.73 gears and Disc Brakes.
-It does come with a ’72 C Body 8 ¾ bare housing if you want to go that way.

-The body has had some work. There has been some frame reinforcing and some panel replacements.
This is why I am listing the car a good racecar project.
-The rear lower ¼ extensions have been replaced and have a good amount of filler in them. The trunk pan has been replaced w/ a piece of sheet metal that has been formed and tack welded in.
-The front and rear floor pans have been replaced with what looks like AMD panels.
-It has a fresh paint job that is not perfect but looks okay for a racecar. I'd call it a 10-20footer.
-It comes with a grille & headlight bezels.
-As for the interior, it comes with a standard dash.
-It doesn’t have front seats, but it does come with the rear seat core.
-There are a bunch of loose parts in boxes with some wiring.

So, here is your chance to get a 340 Demon Racecar Project!
It will need some love and some work to get her down the track, but it’s a great start.
Buy her now and you can be race-ready by the Summer!
Has a clear title.

Thanks for looking!

Happy to answer what I can. I took this vehicle on trade a while back, but I have too many projects in the queue to get to this one, and I hate seeing a cool car sit. It is titled in Oregon in my name, and is titled as a Dodge Demon.

I am open to offers and trades, vehicle, tools, etc, so let me know what you've got!
