DESCRIPTION:

Located in Eugene Oregon. For sale by owner, clear Oregon title in hand, in my name.

No, I don't have the build sheet or window sticker, but I do know the history of the car. I purchased this '71 GS  few months ago from a classic car collector & broker in Portland Oregon to use as my "summertime cruiser", he purchased it from the original owner & provided me with the following info on the car. And yes, I believe him, since I've also purchased 2 other cars from him in the past (a '67 Camaro RS & a '70 Corvette LS5 454). In addition to that, I'm 66 years old & I have owned several 1965 to 1972 GS's over the years, including a couple of Stage-1 cars & a couple of other convertibles (1971 & 1972), so I am very familiar with them. My car is 1 of only 656 GS 350 convertibles made in 1971.

The GS was sold new in Portland, where it has remained, so it's has been an Oregon car all of it's life, and still has it's Original Oregon license plates! It's never been subject to the rust factor like many of the old cars in the eastern half of the country, this is a good, solid western car. It is the correct red paint color & correct white interior (with black dashboard & carpet). The factory options are, 350-V8, Turbo-350 Automatic transmission, Power steering, Power brakes, Tilt steering wheel, Rare Air Conditioning, Tachometer, Power bench seat, Power windows, Chrome rearview mirrors & F-41 suspension with a Posi-Traction rear axle. Price is .

Reason for selling,, I'm 66 years old & had some recent medical issues. I'm advertising it down here because I believe it deservers to be in a warmer climate in California or Nevada, where it can be driven & enjoyed more often throughout the year than it can be up here in Eugene, where classic cars sit in storage for 6 or 7 months out of the year from October to April.

You're welcome to talk with my mechanic, he inspected the car for me when I purchased it. I strongly encourage you to make the effort to come SEE it in person & go for a test drive, but If you can convince me that you're a "serious" buyer, I'm maybe willing to work out a long distance deal. (Shipping arrangements are up to the buyer).

Very Important,, due to the high amount of "Fake" replies on boatexportusa, if you reply, please type out a few sentences to convince me that you're a "real" person who is a serious buyer, or I won't reply! I also won't reply to suspected scammers and/or people who don't seem to understand what my ad says. Thank you.
