DESCRIPTION:
A rust-free, great-running Fastback Type 3. 1776 motor. New brake master cylinder/lines, struts, front-end linkages, and brakes. Lots of other new bits and pieces too numerious to mention. We've done a lot to this car over the past 5 years to make it a reliable and fun driver.
This car lived most of its life in the Nevada desert and has no rust. There are a couple small dents easily pulled out. Just haven't gotten to exterior.
250 Watt stealth sound-system: power amp in trunk compartment, equalizer in glovebox, and bluetooth under the dash. The only things showing are the speakers. Would easily push a sub. Rear trunk and doors lined with Rockville deadener mat.
The variations from original are the fuel-injection replacement with dual Solex carbs and upgraded steering wheel (original steering wheel comes in the parts box). The original cardboard front-trunk liner is still there. Very original otherwise - down to the horse hair padding in the rear seat.
The original paint was a cream color. Prior owner covered in the blue that you see currently. We removed some on the front-left quarter panel and the original paint looks good. A removal of the blue coat down to original patina or a repaint would be a great next upgrade.
