For Sale: 1979 Chevrolet Corvette – Built 350, T-10 4-Speed Manual – Project Nearly Done
Asking , or best offer, very low miles
Clean title, extra information binders, repair manual and original fixed steering wheel included,
Selling my 1979 Corvette, equipped with a freshly built 350 small block and a Warner Super T-10 4-speed manual transmission. Originally Hilton Brown Metallic with Doe interior, this Vette was repainted red at some point in its life and is now in high-build primer, ready for final smoothing and paint.
I purchased this car as a project with the goal of finishing it out, but due to upcoming college expenses, I need to let it go. It's an excellent platform for someone looking to finish a near-complete build or just enjoy a powerful classic.
New Highlights & Mechanical works:
Engine: Rebuilt 350 (1976 LS9 4-bolt main block, #3970010)
Vortec heads (#14102191), 64cc chambers, 1.94/1.50 valves
Full roller valve train: cam, lifters, pushrods, rockers
Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake (polished)
Edelbrock 650 CFM Thunder AVS carb (#18064)
MSD ignition, Holley electric fuel pump
Ceramic-coated headers, full dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40s
Chromed accessories: alternator, oil pan, pulleys, starter
Engine and clutch have roughly 3,000 miles on them
Between 360-400 HP
Interior & Chassis Work:
New carpet kit with heat/sound insulation
Restored seat backs and tilt steering column (original included)
Rebuilt power steering control valve
Upgraded all 4 calipers to O-ring style
New master cylinder, heater core, battery
New T-top and door seals
Wheels and tires have under 2,500 miles
Interior is exceptionally clean and well-kept
Body:
Nose and front fenders professionally repaired after minor fiberglass cracks
Body is in primer and ready for final sanding and paint
Always garaged, never driven in rain
Comes with the original Corvette assembly manual and various spare parts. Starts, idles, shifts, and runs strong. The hard work is almost done. Finish the body and you’ll have an incredible C3 with a fresh drivetrain, clean interior, and modern performance touches.
