DESCRIPTION:
1981 Corvette custom convertible conversion. Rare factory 4 speed. 49,000 original miles. The car has had a professional custom convertible conversion. The quality of the work is very good. The frame has also been reinforced. A few companies did these conversions a long time ago. DeMarco did some of these conversions.
The car had almost (parts & labor), have receipts, of work done to it a few thousand miles ago, but some years ago by Tony's Corvettes. Includes, new brakes, calipers, rotors, brake hoses, stainless steel emergency brakes cables, master cylinder, spark plugs, spark plug wires, water pump, motor mounts, rebuilt carburetor, belts, all fluids, vacuum canister, too much more to list.
Additional, more recent work to include, 4 KYB shocks, Cold Case aluminum radiator, radiator hoses (upper & lower), 4 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires, alternator & belt. New, top of the line Alpine stereo (have original) with CD, & USB, XM Sirus, bluetooth, Kicker speakers (front & rear), new rear custom rear speaker boxes by Innovative Corvette Products, they cost .
A lot more has done has been done by the previous owner, have receipts. Too much to list.
It has a 140 mile speedometer.
The engine runs good.
A very unique Corvette. It turns heads every time I take it out.
A few things it needs. Air conditioning probably needs a charge. The power antenna won't go down, the motor works. I unplugged it. A bushing needs to be installed for the rear end mount, have part. The new Al Knoch convertible top needs to be installed on the frame. I have a new Al Knoch top and install kit. Convertible top frame needs to be adjusted.
