MOST RECENT REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE REPORT:
--58K miles: Replace master cylinder, clutch and pressure plate, shift selector on transaxle, starter, fuel pump, shocks, brakes.
--62K Miles: Replacement of seals, gaskets, engine mounts, rod bearing, and rear main seal
--66K miles: CV Joint assembly replaced, along with points, shaft rod bushing. Timing was adjusted as well.
Detailed Description:
This 1982 Volkswagen Vanagon L Westfalia is finished in Pastel White
over striped cloth and brown vinyl upholstery, and it is powered by a
2.0L air-cooled flat-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. A
Weber-style carburetor has been fitted, while additional features
include a pop-up camper roof, external utility hookups, and 14" steel
wheels as well as an Alpine head unit, a folding rear bench, and a
kitchenette with a sink and a two-burner stove. The van has been
registered in Arizona for approximately 30 years and was acquired by the
seller in 2024.
The van features a pop-up camper roof, sliding side windows, dual side mirrors, a rear window defroster,
external utility hookups, and a sliding right-side door. The pop-up
material has some tears on each side. Nothing terrible. One is ripped at the seam
The 14" steel wheels wear chrome VW-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with
205/70 Champiro tires. The van was factory equipped with an independent
front and rear suspension and rack-and-pinion steering. front disc and rear drum brakes.
The front seat upholstery is torn at the frame.
The rear cabin is fitted with a bench that folds into a bed in addition
to swing-out tables, storage compartments, privacy curtains,
residential-style power outlets, and a pop-up roof tent with zip-open
windows and a sleeping loft. The van is also equipped with a kitchenette
featuring a sink and a dual-burner range. The refrigerator has been
removed and wear is present on interior trim.

removed and replaced by a center-mount Weber Progressive-style
carburetor. Sleeps 3 easily plus a couple of dogs.
