1986 E28 BMW 535i

Amazing BMW 535i e28. What a fun car to drive, to work on, to cruise in and just look at. Classic iconic look. Check! Comfort. Check! This my 2nd 535i as I enjoyed the first one so much. Charcoal grey with black interior and sport seats. I have done a ton of work to this car over the years. Newer carpeting, new stereo that was 3k. Memphis audio with an old school Blaupunkt head unit. Looks period correct but has Bluetooth and hands free calling. So you can listen to your cool tunes looking like it plays from a cassette. New drive shaft, window seals, suspensions components, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel sending unit, crank sensors, computer, and the list can go on and on.

The bad. It has crank but no start currently. I believe just needs new distributor and cap. If I get it going again the price will go up. Some dents that can be remedied with dent doctor. Paints not bad but not perfect.

Odometer still works which most of these stop. Onboard computer still works and all the sensors are still in working order. Has a slight leak from the oil pan and if you know these cars the oil pan is like gold. They’re like bucks alone if you can find one. I have one that will go with the car. Just haven’t installed it. Couple other misc parts that can go as well. Has the front euro grill and lights as well.

The list can go on with this little rocket ship.
kas mentioned if I get it running again the price goes up. My loss is your gain. Have to many toys and just getting rid of some of them. This is a manual car and they are going up in value as they are becoming harder and harder to find.
