DESCRIPTION:

1986 F250 Diesel 4x4 XLT Lariat. 6.9 liter C6 automatic
113,XXX miles. Excellent condition, factory AC blows ice cold, many documented new parts & repairs. With vintage Gem Top Camper. Original blue California plates. Duel tank. SMOG EXEMPT IN CALIFORNIA

New cooling system, alternator, two new batteries, new brakes, brake booster, wheel bearings packed, AC pressure tested (no leaks), new injection pump one year ago, and new glow plugs. KYB shocks, tie rods, Falken Wildpeak MT tires, and more!

Body is very straight, very few small dings, a little surface rust around the wheel wells. Amazing patina. Camper has new plexiglass and seal. The truck had a different camper on it for most of its life, so the bed is in excellent shape.

Comes with very unique vintage Igloo center console. Original AM FM radio. Dash is nearly perfect with one small tear in the perforated part of the speaker. New trailer electrical plug in was wired & installed.

This truck runs amazingly! The ‘86 6.9 is probably the best block pre Powerstroke. If you treat it right it will hit 400,000 miles. Keep her stock or a wonderful candidate for a turbo. She turns heads every where she goes. I have original steel wheels and dog dish caps that will be included with the sale.

The bad: speedometer broke. I originally changed the speedo cable but that didn’t fix it, and then the needle broke. Odometer works fine. Will need to be repaired or replaced with a rebuilt one. Headliner was torn down because it was sagging. But original headliner board is still up. I have two black LMC sun visors. The latch for the camper is broken. It has keys but will need to be repaired. The two fuel sending units are a little inconsistent, but it holds so much fuel and switches perfectly between front and rear tank.

Asking . Located in Fresno. I’m sorry to part with her. I’m the third owner. The first owner had her until 2020. It was grandpa owned and primarily used as a hunting rig. He put about 85,000 gentle miles on it in nearly 35 years. Someone else acquired this truck for a few months only before selling it to me. I primarily used this truck as a weekend truck, but have used her as a daily from time to time and she drives great. I have also driven her to Seattle and back with no issues. She is a little slow moving up a hill at elevation, but keeps up on I5 just fine otherwise.
