I purchased the truck as a daily driver on 9-1-2019 with 212,000 original miles, the reverse gear grinding, and rough idle at cold start.

Adjusted carb idle speed screws from factory settings (assuming original owner never adjusted) and no change to rough idle at cold start.

New tires 212,225k 9-3-2019.

Aftermarket shifter rebuild kit 9-17-2019.

Aftermarket spark plugs, distributor cap, and wires 9-27-2019.

Aftermarket AAP carb gasket 7-13-2020 *fixed rough idle at cold start*.

New Battery 8-8-2020.

Aftermarket master clutch cylinder 8-15-2020 once discovered wet pedal area.

Aftermarket valve cover gasket 8-21-2020 once discovered wet head.

Front mail seal blew late September 2020 which led to replacing the following on 10-11-2020 at 230,440k:

Canopy hatch lift struts 1-18-2021.

Luk Clutch and Flywheel kit 234,850k 5-1-2021 *fixed reverse gear grinding*.

PCV valve and grommets 12-3-2022.

Aftermarket O'Reilly's Starter 238,083k 2-17-2023.

Catalytic Converter STOLEN 4-1-2023.

Truck sat until 10-23-2023 once straight-piped.

Since truck sat for about 7 months - now runs rich at cold start.

Idle at cold start smoothes out after feathering throttle.

I've been driving in town at least once a week since 10-23-2023.

Replaced battery terminals and carb air filter 2-15-2025

Carb needs adjusted or rebuilt.

Radiator full, overflow reservoir low and brown.

Needs a little work for a 38 year old pickup. Worth it for the enthusiast out there. She has treated me well on my daily commute as well as various adventures and hauling missions. Hopeful she'll do the same for you.
