- 1988 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur
- Documented 27k miles on clean title !!
- Estate Owned and well cared for
Car was bought by a local collector and car enthusiast who sadly passed away in 2023. Very little is known about its previous ownership, due to the remaining family members not knowing a whole lot about cars or the cars in the collection.
- Paint and body are exceptional !! No signs of any paintwork, body damage or accident damage or at least what I can see. There are a couple of very , very small paint chips here and there up close inspection. Where the Rolls-Royce Grill meets the hood / bonnet, there is some small cracking in the paint, I'm guessing due to age, but, overall, the car shows very well. Very nice panel and body gaps. Very nice opening / closing of all of the doors, trunk / boot and hood / bonnet- in fact, they all close with the distinct, solid "thud" of what a car of this caliber should sound like ! Vinyl top in very good shape, with no signs of any bubbling or separation. Chrome, trim and brightwork, all in fantastic shape. Very solid undercarriage, floors, trunk and firewall.
- Interior just as impressive !! No signs of ever being smoked in, abuse or neglect. Very nice dash pad, package tray, door panels, carpets, seat surfaces and ceiling- everything feels great to the touch and visual appearance !! Oh, and it's smell- that, Old English Leather / Old Car Smell !!! You can never duplicate that scent- it's amazing !! All woodwork just as nice ! Working gauges with no service lights or warning lights, power windows, HVAC controls, signals, exterior power mirrors and horn. The annoying "door open / seatbelt buzzer " works. Power seats do not work or, I haven't figured out how to operate them ? Column Automatic Shifter engages easily. Very nice glass with no chips or scratches.
- The 6.75L V8 starts right up and settles to smooth idle with no strange smells or smoking. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly.
The car runs, drives, shifts, tracks and brakes as good as it looks and as one would expect with only having 27,000 original documented miles !! Yes, it's that nice !
