DESCRIPTION:

Selling my beloved E30 to make room for an M2.

I bought this car in 2020 during the pandemic, it was running very rough and needed a lot of love. It kept me sane and gave me something to do and make better. There has been so much work done on this car to make it run and drive well and it now drives beautifully, but it’s time to make way for a new fun car in the garage.

This is an old car. The exterior of this car has original paint. It’s fair condition. There are small dents, scratches and paint chips all over the car. It’s a nice patina on a 35 year old car.

There is an area on the rear passenger side that has evidence of some sort of collision and some sad bodywork was done by a previous owner at some point. See pictures. The rust visible from the exterior is just on the surface. I can provide pictures of the interior trunk if you are interested, or check it out yourself

On the interior there a few small tears on the rear seats and some larger tears in the headrests of the front seats. There are a few missing plastic covers in different areas of the interior as well.

Despite all this, this interior is lovely to live in, the car turns heads and looks great in photos.

The good:
5 speed manual
Straight 6
RWD
Convertible
3.73 limited slip differential
Crack free dash (has a tiny crack almost invisible)
Beautiful custom floor mats from Germany
Has an ultra rare euro clock
Will include a continental period correct head unit with purchase (u bought this but it hasn’t been installed yet)

The quirks:
No AC
Fuel level gauge doesn’t work
Heated seats don’t work
There’s a broken key in the glove box lock that needs to be removed to have a locking glove box
Coolant level sensor is broken so coolant light is always on
Convertible top was replaced in the last year and looks fantastic, but it needs a new front seal to be water tight.

The needs attention soon:
Brakes work great, but new rotors and pads are in order soon.
Tires have plenty of tread left, but are aging. (Manufactured 2017)

Work done refurbishing the car (since 2020):
