DESCRIPTION:
I am ready to sell, make me an offer!
This is a 1992 Subaru Sambar KS4 4WD truck. I imported this truck myself in 2023. It runs good, shifts into all gears smoothly. It will do highway speed just fine and comfortably cruises at 55mph.
What I have done to the truck:
Added cupholders, installed an alpine stereo with pioneer speakers (bluetooth and handsfree calling), added a digital MPH speedometer, replaced the alternator with a higher amperage model, added an AGM battery, changed spark plugs distributor and wires, added a crankcase breather, fixed an exhaust leak, and rewired the fog and headlights. This truck is carbureted so I have only ever run ethanol free fuel in
it.
Areas that need attention:
The 4WD system works perfectly but I think it needs a new 4WD button on the shifter. You can manually put the truck into 4WD. It has some spots of rust on the body, but no major rust on any frame components like you see with many Japanese imports, the underside of the truck is nice a clean. The carburetor probably needs to be cleaned but this truck has never failed to start and runs and idles great.
I am probably forgetting things that I have done to it, but if you have any questions feel free to ask. I can also provide additional photos of specific areas upon request.
