DESCRIPTION:
1992 Toyota Pickup 22RE Engine 4x4 in beautiful Cherry Red.
I have owned the car for the last 5 years. Bought it from a dealer in Boise, Idaho, so its a west coast vehicle (virtually rust free, very rare for these).
Has the legendary 22re engine. If you know these trucks, you know this truck will run till the end of time....It is in fantastic shape sans some paint issues on the hood and roof.
Just hit 220k, so she's barely broken in. I've done a lot of work on the vehicle in the last couple years. It's got a new radiator/hoses with a rebuilt fan clutch, new belts, new catalytic converter, Billstein 4600 shocks on the front and back, new spark plugs and wire set, and rebuilt front bearings. I've had the A/C system converted from the old R12 to 134a freon, and system works well (VERY RARE FOR THESE TRUCKS).
The seats were done 5/6 years ago, so they're clean and comfy with no rips. It's got a newer bluetooth radio as well as new Kenwood speakers (though, they're the original 4 in speakers in the dash, so could use an upgrade). All the lights work on the dash, and this thing even has a WORKING CLOCK.
Some small issues:
As I said, paint on the hood and roof are so-so.
Front tires need to be rebalanced
Slight short with the blinker/speedometer (wires have been checked and are good, so likely needs a new fuse)
Some damage to the bottom of the drive-side interior door panel
Driver side door latch needs to be looked at
Rear bumper has slight damage (bought it with that)
All said, this is beautiful pickup truck in fantastic mechanical and cosmetic shape. I am in absolutely no rush to sell, so I WILL NOT consider low-ball offers, sorry.
Please be serious if you're going to reach out, thank you!
