DESCRIPTION:

1995 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet (993) - 6-Speed Manual - 90k Miles - Guards Red over Black Supple Leather - 18” Turbo Twist Wheels, New Continental Tires - Thick stack of records throughout the current owner’s 18 years/72k miles of use. 77 photos and CarFax report in a Google Album HERE: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1F9N9Ekep_QRKNa6Y3_OJe93FfHwgAVvY?usp=drive_link k of work done in the last 3,500 miles, including engine-out service, rear main seal, new clutch, all new seals, gaskets, o-rings and molded rubber hoses throughout, all new ignition components (wiring harness, plugs, caps, rotors), polished timing covers, new heat insulator pad, AC charge, new front brake pads, rotors, and shims, rebuilt front calipers, etc. Runs great, passes smog. The car spent 2.5 years with its original owner in Ann Arbor, MI, before its second owner acquired it in 1997 with 10k miles. A FedEx pilot based in Ohio/Tennessee, the car was always kept at his second home in Orange County, CA until 2009, when it was sold to the 3rd and current owner (my father) with 23k miles. Beginning with a 356SC in 1964, this is his final and favorite of many air-cooled Porsches over the last 6 decades, and it's only being sold because he’s 92 and (sadly) can no longer enjoy it. An architect in Santa Barbara, it was his daily driver for much of the ~18 years he owned it, and while the pictures speak for themselves and the car was always maintained, garaged, and cared for, it’s not a “garage queen”. A contractor backed into the front bumper during a site-visit in 2016 (replaced, bonnet and fenders also sprayed to blend), and my dad was forced into an embankment in 2024 to avoid an oncoming car over the line on a windy, narrow Riviera road, requiring a front passenger side fender replacement and the associated paintwork. The driver’s seat has a worn upper bolster, split stitching on the back, and wear to the bottom, and the upper cap on the driver side door card has a small crack. The rest of the interior (including the dash) is in great shape, as is the soft-top, which shows no wear and retains a clear plastic window. Factory tonneau and optional windscreen included, as are the spare, air compressor, and all books and manuals. Unfortunately I can’t confirm whether the tool kit’s complete, and as of right now we can only find one key (will look for the second, but no guarantees). Some of the wheels have minor curb rash, there’s a soft depression showing on the front bumper, typical scuffing at the bottom of the front valence, and a couple other small paint chips/imperfections which are documented in the photo album. I’m helping my parents sell the car, and because I have to coordinate their schedule along with my own (work, small kids, an upcoming surgery and week plus recovery, etc.), it may take some time to schedule showings or respond to questions. Your patience is appreciated – we’ve no urgency to sell. Lastly, I’ll try my best to answer questions, but I won’t be replying to, “Is this available?” If it’s listed, it’s still available. Thanks for your interest!
