DESCRIPTION:
We have a 1996 BMW 328i convertible that we purchased NEW in 1996 and it has never changed hands. 2.8liter Inline 6, RWD. Manual transmission. Car is vintage and wonderful to drive.
Issues:
1: some of the interior upholstery is ripping
2: the cover will go up and down but requires some manual “help” to move it along
3: the dashboard gauge was replaced at about 120,000 miles with one that was purchased online and reads 240,000. That is not the actual mileage of the car, but that is what it reads. Actual mileage is ~160k.
4: obviously some dings and dents around the body
5: issue with CA smog test; this is the primary reason for selling the vehicle.
