DESCRIPTION:
1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo - 5.2L V8, 100K Miles, Setup to flat tow -
Selling our 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, with the 5.2L (318 c.u.) V8 engine, full time 4WD with 4-low as well, and just 100K miles. This Jeep has been incredibly reliable and well-maintained – it’s ready for its next adventure!
Features and Upgrades:
* Leather Interior: Comfortable and well-kept overall. Some tears on the driver-side seat bottom, but I found close matching seat covers.
* Sunroof: Nice and big with no leaks, but works intermittently.
* Full time 4WD with 4-low and neutral (key for flat towing)
* New Bluetooth Stereo and Upgraded Speakers: Sounds great, makes those road trips and drives down the coast more enjoyable.
* New Rear View Mirror with Integrated Backup Camera: Added safety and convenience when reversing.
* New headlights and top quality bulbs
Recent Work (+ worth of repairs):
* We put in a lot of work when we bought it, including replacing fluids, seals, and gaskets, as well as a brand-new radiator. No leaks, runs strong, and has never let us down.
* All the service records are available since we have owned it
* The ABS light is currently on. Kelly's Automotive put in 2 new, different ABS devices to try and repair it and neither of them worked. The brakes work just fine though. We did a flush and the rotors and pads are great.
Towing Setup ()
* Tow System installed by Oregon Light Truck and RV. 95% of the use of this Jeep was for flat towing behind our RV. It’s equipped with a top-of-the-line towing system designed for RVs with air brakes. The Jeep connects directly to the air line of your coach, allowing the RV's air brakes to activate the Jeep’s braking system without needing a "brake buddy." Super easy to connect and disconnect from the coach (less than a minute).
* Heavy Duty Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar: Extra strength, lots of degrees of movement, and very easy to use and connect to an RV
We no longer need the Jeep as we’ve sold our RV, so it’s time for this awesome vehicle to find a new home. If we didn’t already have another SUV and weren’t done RVing, we’d definitely be keeping it! We have about into it since we bought it ~ 4 years ago and are listing it for .
Please call or text Mike with questions or to come see the Jeep.
If you're interested or have any questions, feel free to reach out. The Jeep is in great shape and ready to hit the road!
