DESCRIPTION:
Selling my 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe Sport (2-door) with only 115k miles! Has the 350 5.7L V8 and the automatic 4L60E transmission. Runs and drives EXCELLENT, no issues. Everything works as it should. Cold AC and hot heat, all lights work, no CELs. I maintain all my vehicles very well, as reliability is critical to me. No leaks no drips - can’t stand a messy garage floor. 115k miles. 4x4 works great as well, and has the push button auto-4wd option as well.
1999 is the last model year of the full-size 2-dr Tahoe and Yukon models. These are fairly rare and have been going up in value the last few years.
Features include 3.73 gears with the G80 limited-slip rear differential. Tow package with hitch and trans cooler. Electric locks and windows. Two remotes. Custom seat covers to protect the interior. The Toyo Open Country ATIII tires in size P265/65R18 have 12/32nds of tread left (well over 75%) and DOT dates codes of 2022.
Lots of recent service, upgrades and maintenance documented below.
I am the third owner. I bought this at the start of the pandemic in 2022 with 110k miles from a gentleman in Colorado. The interior is clean and in good condition. The exterior has no collision damage, clean CarFax included. The original Victory Red paint has lost most of its clear coat.
In my 3 years of ownership, I have upgraded the truck with ceramic window tint, SiriusXM tuner, new Kenwood head unit. The 350 V8 sounds great with the Magnaflow muffler. The muffler, radio and the later-model Chevy OEM 18” wheels are the only modifications from how it left the factory.
I would (and have) drive this thing anywhere, and have done 1000 mile road trips in comfort.
It is difficult to find an unmolested, original and fully maintained, fully functioning two door full-size Blazer (or Tahoe or Yukon ) with 4x4 and the reliable 5.7L at this price. You will not be disappointed in how this truck feels, drives, sounds, and performs.
Selling because I have too many vehicles and this one has been taking a back seat in the line-up.
Partial list of recent maintenance during my ownership:
09/22 110k miles: oil change, new battery, engine air filter, AC service, drive belt & tensioner, downstream O2 sensor
10/22 110k miles: Kenwood head unit and Sirius XM tuner, new rear speakers
10/22 111k miles: transmission fluid service, transfer case output shaft seal, front diff pinion seal, change fluid in both diffs and x-fer case, power steering fluid flush
11/22 112k miles: both engine mounts, both oil cooler lines, water pump, thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses, new coolant
05/23 113k miles: inner & outer tie rods, idler arm, pitman arm, all four Bilstein 4600 shock absorbers, sway bar bushings, alignment
I am aware of 2 issues: the passenger side upper ball joint is cracked and needs replaced sometime, and the headliner needs to be addressed at some point. Not currently sagging as it is pinned up with upholstery tacks, but that is not a permanent fix in my book.
