This is a great truck that can make you a lot of money doing contract work. It starts right up and runs great. It has very low original miles, at least for its age. Since it’s a dually, it can handle plenty of weight. I added custom racks to it that I hauled plenty of 24ft & 30ft pipes and purlins on. You can haul lumber, pvc pipes or steel and easily load/unload by hand or with a fork lift. The large flat bed can carry concrete pallets, steel plate, etc.
I am the third owner of this truck. It was originally purchased new by a plumbing company, that then sold the truck to one of their employees. The employee did plumbing work on the side with it, and he then sold it to me, and I used it for my mobile welding business. When I got it, I changed all the fluids, put in a new master brake cylinder and a new fuel pump. It has been a solid truck for me with no mechanical problems, but I’m getting out of the mobile welding business.
This truck has a few minor annoyances to me that you could fix if you’re handy. They never bothered me enough so I just let them be. I included them below -
The Good-
-Mechanically sound engine and transmission
-Low Original Miles
-5.7 V8 Vortec Engine with lots of power
-Large flat bed with four spacious toolboxes
-Gooseneck trailer hitch port already in the bed, just need the ball.
-Custom welded removable racks I made to haul up to 800 pounds.
-New Tires
-Always parked under a carport since I’ve owned it (2019)
-Clean CarFax Report
-Clean Title in My Name
-Inspection good through 8/2025
-Fresh Oil and Filter Change. Ready to work!
The Bad-
-Drivers side seat is torn.
-Drivers side could use a new door handle, but still opens and closes.
-No A/C, I think it needs a blower fan. Heat does come through.
-Windshield has a crack, but no leaks
-Gas Gauge doesn’t work, so I just restart the odometer after filling up. It has two tanks, but I’ve only ever used the front one since the last owner said that’s what he did.
No scammers/spammers. If the ad is up, it’s still for sale. Cash Only. In Person Sales & Serious inquiries only.
