DESCRIPTION:
Excellent condition 1999 Land Rover Discovery with jump seats. Exterior is super clean, with only very minimal rust spots. Interior is super clean with no tears in the leather seats (and seat covers too). Starts up first time, runs great, and honestly is a wonderful truck. BUT, I have to commute to MTV for work now and this is not the ideal car for a 60mile commute! Sad to see her go, but I hope that she finds a great home.
Update: just passed smog on 6/12/25 - so ready for a title transfer anytime!
Tons of upgrades and fixes over the years:
- aftermarket bumpers and rails
- aftermarket roof racks
- 2" lift
- new Falken Wildpeak overside tires
- upgraded battery
- Disco 2 door seals (much quieter inside now!)
- many many parts replaced over the years including o2 sensors, exhaust manifold, belts, radiator overflow catchment, wipers, cracked headlamps etc.
- braided steel brake lines
- 2" tow hitch
- new LED headlamp replacements
- new brake pads and rotors all the way around
- I have extra heavy duty springs that I meant to install but haven't gotten around to
Known issues
- Antilock system was acting a bit odd, so I pulled the breaker on it - I think it's pretty easy to fix if you want, but IMO the braking is better without the antilock system. Either way, I'm planning to fix this before selling, just waiting for the part to arrive.
- sunroofs are sealed because they've leaked in the past (this is a well known issue with these models) - you'll have to keep checking the seal
