DESCRIPTION:

1999 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet w/six speed manual transmission. IMS DONE! This is the nicest driving 996 on the planet! It is amazing! Classic Guards Red with Savannah Beige supple leather interior package. Also includes ice cold AC, power windows, power convertible top, and optional 18 X 8 and 18 X 10 wheels made by BBS for Porsche. ( for a used set w/o tires, if you can find them!). The convertible top is new. My Porsche has been driven under 5,000 miles per year over the past 20 years by me (71 years old) and the previous owner (81 years old). It has always been garaged, driven gently and well maintained with synthetic oil changes every 5K miles. Service and repair records are included with the sale of my Porsche. The following is a list of the more recent significant ones: 1. New IMS, oil separator, rear main seal, clutch, flywheel, etc. @ 88,123 miles; 2. New water pump @ 91,479 miles; 3. New battery @ 94,238 miles 4. New rear brake pads/Rotors @ 99,493 miles; 5. 100K major service, including spark plugs, coil packs, oil change, etc. @ 99,793 miles; 6. New F & R struts, lower control arms and rear sway bar drop links, and new Bilstein shocks @ 107,772 miles; 7. New custom exhaust installed @ 110,318 miles. Sounds amazing! It’s just right! 8. New front and rear brake pads and rotors @ 116,424 miles; 9. Another major service w/new spark plugs, serpentine belt, transmission service, etc. @ 120,488 miles; 10. Brand new convertible top and cylinder mechanisms @ 120,888 miles; 11. Four brand new Sumitomo low-profile tires and oil change @ 121,927 miles; 12. New Interstate battery @ 122,520 miles; 13. I had it lowered 1” with H & R sport springs, which included a subsequent 4-corner alignment @ 123,000 miles. The car just turned 124,000 last week. By the way, the combination of the wider, low-profile tires (235’s/285’s) gives this 996 an incredible stance, especially from behind! My Porsche literally needs nothing to be driven cross country tomorrow, to the best of my knowledge. Enjoy it immediately with pretty much everything done for you already! This is an exceptional driver-quality Porsche that looks and runs great and drives even better. Also, I just paid for new registration in full (), so it is valid until September 2027, and I had the car smogged on September 1 in anticipation of the sale. First K drives it home.
