DESCRIPTION:

**2000 CHEVY ASTRO CARGO VAN - 4WD CONVERTED (NP233C TRANSFER CASE) - 3 INCH LIFT - RUST-FREE - CLEAN WASHINGTON TITLE - BUILT WORK/ADVENTURE RIG**

**: (MOTIVATED TO SELL, OPEN TO REASONABLE NEGOTIATION)**

**CONTACT INFORMATION**
Due to working irregular nursing shifts, text message is highly preferred for first contact as my phone is frequently on silent.

**OVERVIEW**
This Astro cargo van started its second life in Forks, Washington, where it was purchased with a blown head gasket during a travel nursing assignment. What began as a major mechanical recovery turned into a full functional overhaul focused strictly on capability, reliability, and utility rather than cosmetics...but as you can see, she does clean up well.

**DRIVETRAIN AND MECHANICAL**
The engine was thoroughly overhauled and refreshed following the head gasket failure, bringing it into strong running condition. After being driven to Florida, the van was upgraded into a true 4WD platform using a manually shifted NP233C transfer case paired with Journeys Offroad components. This is a legitimate 4WD conversion featuring 2HI, 4HI, and 4LO capabilities.

**SUSPENSION AND PERFORMANCE**
The suspension is upgraded with a 3 inch lift and heavy-duty KYB MonoMax gas shock absorbers for maximum control under load and on rough terrain. The sale includes uninstalled add-a-leaf springs, as well as the necessary dashboard indicator light components for the 4WD and 4LO modes, which have not yet been wired in. The van runs and drives strong on BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires with plenty of tread remaining.

**UTILITY AND INTERIOR**
The body is completely rust-free. The interior is a simple, functional cargo work van layout built for durability, jobsites, hauling, or overland setups. It features ice-cold AC and high-output heating capable of handling Pacific Northwest winters. The towing capacity is approximately 5,500 lbs (higher than a same-year base model Chevy 1500 pickup) and includes a 2 inch receiver. A CB radio is also included, which utilizes the pre-existing antenna mount originally used for a ham radio.

**SALE DETAILS**
Clean Washington title is in hand. The vehicle is also listed on eBay and other platforms. Payment via cash or common electronic transfer applications is accepted. The owner is moving to Washington permanently on the 1st and must downsize to one vehicle, making this a motivated sale to fund the upcoming relocation. Serious partial trades for highly portable, useful items may be considered, but cash up front is preferred. Additional adventure photos are available upon request.
