A/C blows cold and heater blows hot
2005 front bumper, headlights and grille about 5 years ago.
Hood and roof repainted due to clear peeling about 5 years ago.
Drove the truck on a 2,300 mile trip about 3 months ago. It had no issues whatsoever and started every morning in 11 degree weather.
Oil and filter every 5,000 miles.
Transmission serviced every 50,000 miles.
Maintenance performed as required per scheduled service intervals since new.
New Motorcraft batteries- March, 2025.
New fuel line and filter due to a minor leak- March, 2025.
New accelerator pedal and sensor- November, 2023.
New A/C condenser due to riding mower shooting a rock through it- March, 2023
New Sony stereo with backup camera. The backup camera can be activated by a switch on the dashboard, so the truck does not have to be in reverse- January, 2023
New tires- July, 2018 @ 148,739 miles.
No further records.
Now the bad
Rust issue on underside of hood from insulation mat retaining moisture. The body shop never bothered to tell me about this when they removed the mat to repaint the hood, or I would have replaced the hood.
Rust beginning on the lower inside of tailgate, has not perforated to the outside of the tailgate.
The button on the end of the shift lever does not shut off the overdrive. I never shut if off anyhow.
The valve that restricts exhaust flow while cold does not work. It was disconnected years ago. It just takes the truck an extra minute or two to warm up when it’s really cold.
The license plates, registration sticker and EZ Tag will be removed upon sale. Sold AS IS! No warranty expressed or implied. CASH OR BANK CHECK ONLY!! Lowball or anything that looks like spam will be deleted and blocked.
