DESCRIPTION:

This is one of 1532 commemorative Eldorados built for the last year of production for the Eldo. If that doesn't mean anything, you should probably not go further with this ad. I am requesting more for this vehicle than a standard Eldorado of this year's model and the miles accrued. Commemorative amenities were limited to 1532 units, the same number of Eldorados produced in 1992 when the Eldorado was first introduced. Of the 1532 built, they only made 534 red units; the rest were white. The red ones were the only ones with the red and black interior. A plaque identifies these vehicles by a production number presented on the dash. I have forgotten what number this one is. These cars have a 300hp North Star engine running on regular 87-octane fuel. No! Going to a higher octane fuel will not get any more hp. I can explain that if you don't understand why a higher octane fuel is needed on some engines, I will not do that here. These cars also have a unique exhaust that replicates the sound of original Eldos. Even though there are roughly 165K miles on this car, it still runs very strong. The only thing wrong is a slight oil leak on one of the valve cover gaskets. The vehicle will be reduced in price by 100 dollars every week until it is sold. So, if you like the car but don't like the price, hang around and watch as the cost will go down the longer it takes to see the car. I have seen these cars on CL in the last 6 months for sale for as much as 32 thousand dollars; of course, they had much fewer miles on them, but otherwise, they were the same car. I have spent a good bit of money replacing worn parts on this in the recent past. I will review that with you when you come and look at it.

This is a repost, so as you will see, four weeks have expired since the initial listing, so the price of the car is now 6600 and will be reduced by 100 dollars per week until sold. So keep watching. If you are interested, it will be sold at some point. I do not have any place to keep this vehicle, so it has to go. Wait long enough, and you could get this vehicle for a super low price. Or wait too long; someone else will have a big smile as they drive off in this beauty. And by the way, there is nothing wrong with the head gaskets on these engines. This problem on the North Star engine was fixed in 2000 by tapping the threads deeper in the block and using a bolt with deeper, more pronounced threads. I wish I could bought tis car at this price.
