DESCRIPTION:
2002 Ford F350 7.3L Diesel 4x4 Crew Cab 8ft Bed.
This has been an excellent truck. Has 318K miles and nwback. F350 1 Ton truck that carry and tow anything you want. It is 23 years old, so its not perfect, but has plenty of life to last another 300k+miles. These are considered 1 million mile motors if properly maintained.
The Good:
Strong 7.3L V8 Powerstroke (legendary engine).
4x4 w/Mile Marker Hub Locks
K&N Air Intake Kit
2.5"Leveling kit
285 tires (33" equivalent)
8ft Long Box
No Blue DEF needed
No Accidents
Non smoker
Pretty straight forward to work on. Not complicated like modern diesel. Just nuts and bolts.
The Bad:
New small oil or fuel leak in valley (o-ring somewhere/common in these trucks)
Windshield seal needs to be redone.
Having cold start troubles if engine block not plugged in for about an hour on cold days. (Might need a new set of glow plugs and/lower oil pump replacement)
The Ugly:
23 years old (will have dents/dings etc)
Paint peeling on right fender, hood, roof
Paint bubbles on right back wheel flare.
See pictures
Because these engines spring occasional leaks, are 1 ton rated and maintenance is needed to make the million mile mark, you should own some tools and be comfortable turning a wrench.
