Amazing car in excellent condition for it's age; runs perfectly and meticulously maintained. Fabulous Targa top is like the worlds biggest sunroof for that size car. Cold outside? Heated seats make it fun. And the Targa is the only 911 with a rear hatch that opens for more storage, in addition to the "trunk" up front. It's fast, sporty, and the six-speed manual transmission makes it fun. Clean title in hand. Scheduled services and regular oil changes. Always garaged /seats covered.

All critical original Porsche 996 engine parts (those which typically fail in 10% (according to Porsche) of 996 models with 20,000 to 90,000 miles on the odometer, such as Porsche's RMS (rear main seal), IMS (Intermediate Shaft Bearing), AOS (Air/Oil Separator), etc. were all inspected. IMS was replaced, for peace of mind when I purchased the car. It was not faulty. This is an incredibly beautiful automobile that looks new and was recently serviced to provide a long and reliable life, to deliver exceptional satisfaction and driving pleasure to its owner. A few minor cosmetic blemishes from when I purchased, but overall a very lovingly cared for, garaged vehicle.

I had been searching for over a year for this exact color combo in a Targa, with relatively low miles, and purchased from a couple that used it as a weekend car (purchased at 49,000 miles). I am not the original owner. I am generally very picky about that, but it was crystal clear to me this car had been meticulously maintained, garaged, loved, etc. for its entire life. Along the same vein, I did not get much as far as records from that owner because they were not provided with any service records from the previous owner. It had been maintained at the dealer in the San Jose area, but due to privacy issues, they cannot release to a new owner. After getting the pre-purchase inspection, I was confident it was a perfect find for me. It has not failed me. It's hands down has been the best car I've ever owned, requiring minimal maintenance, especially for it's age. We have had three 911's over the years, and have had like experiences during the lifetime of his ownerships with them.

Since purchasing it, I have had it serviced at Valhalla Automotive in Lafayette (where I used to work - no longer in business - retired), Pacific Power Motorsports in Concord, and by Tim F. across the street neighbor, a 40+ year German car mechanic, retired (for the last 10 years of maintance).

In my opinion, this car is a gem, and I'm not desperate at all to let it go. I only have it listed because I need a more practical daily driver and this is my primary vehicle. That said, I'm not considering any offers, and no trades. This car is in fantastic shape. Text me questions or to arrange a meeting. Thanks.
