The 2005 BMW 645Ci Convertible is a luxurious, two-door, four-passenger sports convertible with a 4.4-liter V8 engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive, offering a blend of performance and comfort. She’s a luxury grand tourer with a sleek design, and powerful engine (it growls when you accelerate).
I bought this beauty in August of 2021 from a gentleman who moved to Portland from Texas. As you can see the dash could use some love and the car could use a deep leather conditioning. I had planned to do all of that but it sat in my garage waiting for weekend play dates out on the open road. If you are in Corvallis, from 99W to Stapleton Rd., to River Rd., then Vitae Springs Road S, is an exhilarating drive. The way she hugs the road is engineering genius and with the top up or down, it is truly high performance driving.
If you are in the market for a convertible, you may question why I am letting her go. To sum it up in one word; divorce. You may also question why the price exceeds that of Edmunds or Kelley Blue book. If so, those appraisals aren't always 100% relevant to classic and/or sports cars. Check out Auto Trader or another online car listing site for more accurate pricing and you'll see it's very reasonable. If you are a BMW enthusiast, you know the original price of this car was , you understand German engineering, and likely agree that she's worth it.
