30k BUILD! Why wait for the truck you want to build? This one owner manual 6 Speed has been taken care of. Never in a collision,or suffered hail damage. This tuff, reliable truck is one of a kind. Ndy else has one because I only built this one. It has everything needed to rock these Rocky's. Make it your own. Add the traction mats or extra fuel cells, additional lights, and rock lights. But this one of a kind build is a perfect start for whatever you have in mind. Maybe you love the sand, rocks, mud, or enjoy some of everything like me. I will be selling this 2006 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Off-road Trails Edition V6 Manual 6 Speed double cab 4 door Trail Killer that I will be rehoming to an adventurous soul. This one owner Tacoma is a highly modified off road vehicle that is great even when you are forced to get on the road. It will run down the highway at over 100 mph at a low RPM in 6th the gear or enjoy climbing up a waterfall. Don't worry about losing traction because the RAMSEY winch (not from Harbor Freight, not a Badlands) will pull you and your friend’s Toyota up the clif too! This truck is running 35” Cooper Mud Terrain tires. Other trucks might be running 35 inch tires but where is the full size 35” spare? In the bed or on a custom bumper? Missing all together? One thing I am very proud of designing the highly monified rear bumper with a built in 2” receiver that also allows me to run a 35 inch tire on the factory under the truck spare tire winch. The problem that had to overcome was the 35” spare hit the factory 2” receiver and the rear differential housing. I got tired of removing and lifting it back in the bed all the time. It took up most of the bed. I found myself leaving with no spare tire to go camping or haul the dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, wood, or supplies. So I took my custom All-Pro bumper and welded the receiver hitch inside the bumper. That is only an example of one of the endless modifications and
Hundreds of professional hours on this Overlander.
This truck has been a reliable part of our family for many years. I installed a Fabtech 6” suspension lift with the high dollar Dirt Logic rebuildable coil over front suspension. This versatile fully adjustable suspension system has ncks to lift the leaf springs. After getting axle wrap I removed the factory Toyota leaf springs and purchased Alcon expedition or overland heavy duty leafs springs with 11 leafs and full military wrapped mounting areas and never had a problem with the rear suspension system again. The excessive 11 leaf springs are to offer a progressive rate suspension. So it rides great both empty or overloaded with gear or towing. I created the Rock Crusher rocker protection with many features like notched areas to use a high lift jack safely. These rock rails are made from 2x4” 3/16th thick carbon steel welded to the factory frame with gussets to completely overkill anything on the market. You can literally smash any competition sold. You can bounce this truck off rocks and not even damage the powdercoating. All the vulnerable undercarriage parts such as the electric locker actuator and transfer case 4wd actuator have heavy duty shields above the factory protection. Got kids like I had? I installed rear hidden headrests with 11” LED monitors. These secret TVs become visible once unzipped they each have wireless headphones, remote control, and game controllers. They have been preloaded with 32 arcade style games. With a push of the button the monitor pivots up to access a DVD or Blu-ray player. This system allows you to play 3 different movies or games at a time. Or watch One movie through all 3 screens and enjoy the sound system and subwoofer. Everyone will know when the monster jumps out!😳 One playing a game, another watching the Jungle Book both through wireless headphones while the driver listens to a playlist through a custom entertainment center with 7 speakers and a MTX Road thunder amp and a 10” JL audio custom fiberglass and particle board subwoofer enclosure that is behind the driver's side rear seat everything looks like a factory system and delivers plenty of noise pollution. Watch as the mirror in the car waiting in traffic are vibrating 😲😲. This entertainment system is completely perfect, hidden, and looks like a factory system. I created a high lift jack lockable, painted to match bracket inside the front of the bed. This also would not bow the composite front bed when a motorcycle was being hauled over a difficult trail. Also in the side of the bed a custom shovel and Axe bracket holds with no rattle and all is lockable. Back under the composite bed is a 10 pound CO2 bracket with a quick connect air hose to air up your tires after the trail is completed and it is time to hit the pavement. This power tank CO2 air system will also air up your friend's tires too. With a 200 pound fixed brass air non-icing regulator system and flexible hose airs tires up very quickly. No waiting around for a compressor that might drain your battery and take forever compared to the 200psi CO2 tank. High Country will fill the tank for you. With a tire size 35/12.50R17 mudders you float through the sand or when aired down is super comfortable rock crawling. The truck is equipped with high quality dark window tint and a sliding back glass. Built with an ARB front bumper with a quality RAMSEY winch comes standard in this TRD trail killer. With the heavy duty Fabtech Dirt Logic shocks a sway bar became unnecessary and was deleted for maximum suspension travel and a safe stiff comfortable ride on the big slab. Of course I installed a K&N recleanable air filter. A Best top Softshell topper with tinted windows could be negotiated with the sale. However it fits my first generation 4Runner with the factory hardtop removed so keeping it is still something I can use. But it was perfect for camping without the need of a rooftop tent. Even though this Colorado built truck is a well thought out on and off-road low mileage beast has been monified in every way I just installed a brand new rear differential carrier with an electric magnetic locker, a heavy duty Front Range driveshaft, new front differential clamshell or differential assembly, transfer case, and thick steel shield to keep that piece of mind that this Tacoma will get me and my family back home. It includes a factory alarm and so much more like interior parts professionally painted and clear bra protected to as a touch of bling inside the cab. I get compliments on the build so often it's hard to keep talking about it with strangers. This is not your average rock crawling truck. I have so much money in my Tacoma that it's shocking. But even more important is the vast amount of man hours devoted to the build. I started with the most reliable vehicle I could find and began to improve it in the most important ways. You can't call this a mall crawler because it is so capable of going anywhere I've tried to run. The standard 6 Speed transmission opens up opportunities for ring and pinion changes or drifting around dirt road corners in the dunes. I'm positive that I have not listed all the monifications but no expense was spared. I have owned this truck since it had 6 miles on it. And I have taken the best care of it the entire time. Adding up the recipes it has over in parts, steel, monifications. That doesn't include any labor costs, sandpaper, welding supplies and on. I have gotten into the off-road UTV / RZR high speed wheeling. The hug suspension system allows me to get more days of riding in before I get sore from the trail. If you lookup the Fabtech Dirt Logic suspension system and other customized bling and upgrades to keep this Tacoma in perfect trustworthy condition you will likely see the cost of the truck is only the beginning of a build. How far can you afford to go? This is a well maintained clean unit that is trail tested in ,9 states! Yes Mf course. Fins and Things and Hells Revenge are a couple of easy trails completed many times in this bullet proof creation.
Make your family memories and go anywhere you want. If you have any problems, the RAMSEY winch is a great tool and piece of mind. The winch electric parts are Encased in a semi truck tire tube and stashed behind the driver's headlight. This insures that if the time ever comes up that you need to winch someone else out it will be in clean working condition. Just plug in the winch remote and safely winch out you friends from the heated or cooled truck cab. Don't let this one get away from you. Just pay for the monifications and get the Toyota Tacoma Trail Killer for free
