Condition:
This Saab 9-7x runs and drives beautifully. It has been meticulously maintained, and I have documentation for all recent major repairs. The priority has been to make this SUV as mechanically sound as possible, and the extensive work done reflects that.
Mechanical Condition & Recent Maintenance:
Engine & Drivetrain: The 5.3L V8 is strong and responsive. Key seals have been proactively replaced to prevent leaks, including the rear main seal, front main seal, valve cover gaskets, and oil pan gasket.
Core Components: A new alternator and battery (May 2025) have been fitted. The idler and tensioner pulleys, serpentine belt, power steering pump, Fuel Sender (Gas Gauge), and water pump (along with a full coolant flush) have all been recently replaced.
Braking System: The brakes have been fully serviced with new front and rear brake pads and new rear rotors.
Fluid Services: Comprehensive fluid maintenance has been completed, including front and rear differential service and a transmission fluid service.
Climate Control: The A/C and heat work perfectly. All A/C climate control actuators have been replaced with genuine GM parts—a significant and labor-intensive job (dash removal) that addresses a very common failure point on these SUVs.
No warning lights on the dash. The vehicle starts, runs, and operates as it should without any alerts or issues (That includes Stabilitrack and the all-wheel drive system).
Exterior & Interior Condition:
Exterior: Cosmetically, it shows its age with some minor hail damage and occasional scratches consistent with a daily-driven vehicle. It cleans up well, but not a perfect show car. The value of this vehicle is in its mechanical condition as well as mileage.
Interior: The tan leather interior is in great shape overall, especially for a GM vehicle of this era. All electronics work as they should. There is one small, 1-inch tear on the driver's seat, but otherwise, the seats are well-preserved.
