Really nice 2008 DODGE Dakota Quad Cab SLT, 4x4, sold with fresh factory remanufactured single overhead cam 4.7 liter HO V-8 with 7 year/70,000 mile nation wide warranty:

Only mechanical history issues I'm aware of is a bad number 2 cylinder head valve seat, causing lower compression in that cylinder! For that reason, rather then just have the cylinder heads overhauled, I've decided to pull the engine and have D & D Machine in Portland, Oregon remanufacture the engine to better then factory new specification and provide their 7 year/70,000 mile nation wide warranty;

The flaws and fix for the 4.7 Liter HO flex-fuel engines with the graphite composite valve seats pressed into the aluminum heads, which are prone to cracking after 100,000 miles. So, I'm pulling the engine to have it remanufactured by D & D Machine in Portland to better then factory new specifications. Their basic charge is parts and labor! The only engine parts being re-used after inspection and reconditioning are the engine block (may be bored to .0020 over size, after being decked and line bored, crank shaft after being ground to .0010 undersize size and polished, rods reconditioned, heads after new valve seats, springs and lifters installed. Everything else will be new and better quality the OEM and will come with their 7 year/70,000 mile nation wide warranty!

Reason for selling: I'm a 75 year old 100% service connected disabled Veteran and I have to many pending projects on my plate.

As you can see in the following pictures all the service and check engines lights work and after you start the engine, all the service and check engines lights immediately go out, confirming the computer doesn't find any mechanical issues!

The tires are oversized optional 18" wheels with Wild Country Trail M&S same size as comes on a RAM 2500 pickup LT275/70R18 and backup set of Good Year M&S 265/60R18 tires. You don't need studs or chains coming over the pass in dead of Winter with these tires! The tire jack, tool kit and spare tire have never been used!

The paint is original black moon dust. Minor parking lot dents in the body! No significant paint chips! I've never polished the paint and didn't wash it or clean up the engine compartment for the pictures!

The interior is the SLT trim with gray cloth and still has that new truck smell; There are no cracks in the dash or door trim or damage to the seats or carpet...they look new!

Everything works as is did when the truck was new, even the over head computer!

The rear window slides and has a deep tent.

There is a optional tow package.

There are minor dents in the bed as it had a hard cover.

The truck tracks true and stops as it should at high speeds.

Feel free to bring your mechanic with his scanning tools to drive and confirm my representations are on point!

I have a clean Oregon title to the truck in may name and good tags.

Be ever mindful that from time I pull the engine its going to take two to four weeks to pull the engine, deliver it to the machine shop in Portland, remanufacture the engine, pick it up and reinstall it.
