DESCRIPTION:

Priced well below build cost β€” turnkey stealth camper ready to roll. πŸ›‹οΈ

Looks like a normal SUV. Lives like a hidden lounge on wheels.

This 2014 Dodge Journey was intentionally built as a true stealth micro-camper β€” no rooftop giveaways, no solar panels, no "vanlife" signals screaming from the curb. Inside? A warm or heat reflective, Art Deco–inspired retreat designed for sleeping, working, and long road trips without attracting a second glance in cities or campgrounds.
Owned since 2016. Clean title in my name β€” never branded by the DMV. Full Carfax provided on request.
Cash only. No trades.

πŸ”§ MECHANICAL CONDITION & HISTORY
Runs and drives well. Consistent maintenance history β€” full Carfax available on request.
Full transparency on accident history: In July 2019, I was rear-ended and the insurance company declared the vehicle a total loss based on book value, not structural damage (damage was minor and cosmetic). I kept the vehicle, no repairs were needed, and it has been driven reliably for the 6 years since. Per the DMV, the title remains clean and has never been branded.
About the Carfax report: Two older damage events (2015 and 2017) appear on Carfax from prior to the 2019 incident. Only the 2019 rear-end was actually mine β€” the earlier reports were either from the previous owner or filed in error, and I was unable to get them removed within the contest window. Happy to walk through the full history in person.
Recent maintenance:

ABS control module replaced β€” cruise control restored (April 2026)
EVAP canister replaced (February 2026)
Fuel pump replaced (June 2025)
Front brake hoses replaced (June 2025)
EVAP vent purge valve replaced (June 2025)
Transmission fluid changed (June 2025)
Rear brakes: pads, rotors, and calipers replaced (May 2025)
Battery/charging system checked (June 2025)
Brake fluid flushed (June 2025)
Full tune-up + exhaust repair (November 2024)
Alternator replaced (March 2024)
Tie rod ends + four-wheel alignment (April 2024)
Coolant flushed (April 2024)
Engine mount (2024)
Thermostat housing (2025)
Valve cover gasket (2024 & 2025)
Serpentine belt (2025)
Upper radiator hose (2023)
LED headlights (2023)

Known items:

EVAP small leak (P0456): Persistent minor code. Smoke-tested multiple times. Purge valve and EVAP canister both already replaced β€” leak source has been elusive (possibly the filler neck, LDP, or a line connection). No drivability impact, runs and drives normally.
Open manufacturer recall: FCA Recall #U67 (2011–2016 2.0L–2.4L NOX emissions). Potential remedy for EVAP code. Recall available free at any Dodge dealer, I'll happily take care of this before sale if the buyer prefers.

🎯 WHO THIS IS FOR

Someone who doesn't want to spend months building from scratch
A daily driver that doubles as a functional camper
A practical step into vanlife without committing to a full van
Someone who values insulation and year-round comfort

✈️ WHY I'M SELLING
Relocating to NYC and transitioning back to indoor living and public transit.

πŸ“¬ CLOSING
A lot of time, care, and thoughtful work went into this build, it's very close to fully dialed in, with just a small amount left for the next owner to customize or finish to taste. If you appreciate a discreet, well-executed micro-camper over a flashy build, this one will make a lot of sense.
Cash only. No trades. Serious inquiries only. πŸ™
